Youth and YA Ministries
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. ~ Jeremiah 29:11
Bramalea youth, commonly referred to as Bramalea Youth Group (BYG), is grounded in our young people's development in building an honest and authentic relationship with our father. We do this by building leaders through a foundation of learning and instruction rooted in Godly principles.
Your teenage years can be difficult, we know this, as you struggle to fit in and take on new responsibilities and building a foundation of who you want to be. You are constantly bombarded with the messages that you are never good enough and will never measure up.
Trust us; you are worthy and valuable. God lets us know through his word.
At Bramalea, we try our best to encourage and empower our youth to be the best versions of themselves. All that is missing is you!
Youth and YA
The Bramalea Youth Group energizes our church family with their passion, creativity, and faithful service. Always supportive of church programs and fundraisers—especially those for missions—they have brought fresh ideas and joyful spirit through events such as creative banquets and other initiatives.
The youth are known for their innovation and willingness to serve in a variety of ministries. Many are active in the Media Team, while others take on important leadership roles as VBS leaders, deacons and deaconesses, or members of singing and instrumental groups. They also shine as engaging children’s storytellers, both virtually and in person.
Beyond church walls, BYG brings joy and fellowship to our community. From leading fun-filled games at church picnics that unite young and old alike, to captivating audiences during Cultural Nights with traditional dances that even inspire adults to join in, their presence is always a source of delight. Throughout the years, they have also nurtured meaningful connections through small group meetings, book clubs, and relevant discussions in AY programs—continuing even during the challenges of the pandemic.
Their creativity, energy, and dedication remind us that they are not simply the “leaders of tomorrow”—they are already vital leaders of today, faithfully serving in the ministries to which God has called them.
Signet Pathfinder Club
Pathfinder Ministry is an Adventist worldwide movement with nearly 2 million members and organized through the leadership of the local churches. Our own Signet Club is a very active ministry and is thriving well due to the joint efforts of the staff and parents, with the guidance of the Church Pastor and the full support of the Church family. Knowing their Forever Friend, Jesus, is its primary goal and the character development of children ages 10 - 16 years old. For those who are familiar with it, “Pathfindering” conjures up images of camping, drilling, or outdoor activities but that is just part of it. Teachers endeavour to help the pathfinders build their personal relationship with God while they also build lasting friendships with each other and those around them. They grow up in a family atmosphere where other parents become like their own and develop respect for elders and authorities.
Pathfinders have different levels of curriculum which we follow in order to be invested; however, most often, their learning goes beyond the template as they learn basic life skills, experience nature and science, develop critical thinking as they study the Bible and given opportunities to serve the communities, participate in church activities and join competitions.
Signet has attended all international camporees and with God’s help, consistently won First Place in Drill Competitions.
